Why | Road bridge over Thames next to Houses of Parliament.
The original bridge of 1750, designed by Charles Labelye,
was only the second bridge in London. It suffered scour when the London bridge was removed. The existing bridge was renovated in 2007 by Tony Gee & Partners (design) and Interserve (contractors). |
